Through the TAP, we can provide grants to support the development of environmental infrastructure projects or specific capital investment programs that may be eligible for NADBank financing, as well as to enhance the technical, financial, and institutional capacities of project sponsors.

Activities aimed at generating knowledge about the border region or specific technologies, industries or markets that will help NADBank fulfill its mandate.

In some cases, pilot environmental infrastructure projects and research studies related to the above objectives may be funded through TAP, provided that the project is aimed at supporting the development and introduction of innovative technological solutions to environmental problems as a means of promoting their broader use in the border region.

To be eligible, your project must be located within 300 kilometers south or 100 kilometers north of the U.S.-Mexico border.

TAP funding may be awarded to public or private entities that are actively developing a project or that require additional capacity for the implementation of a project recently approved for financing. Priority will be given to public entities whose projects fall within the sectors of drinking water, wastewater, stormwater or solid waste management.

Funding may be awarded for up to US$250,000. In the case of a regional project involving two or more communities, the maximum amount may be up to US$350,000. Project sponsors must provide a cash or in-kind contribution of at least 10% of the total cost of the activity being funded by TAP award.
