North American Development Bank to Host NADBank Summit 2025 in  

San Antonio, Texas, on August 28-29 

 

  • The two-day binational event will focus on environmental and investment topics that foster an exchange of ideas and experience for collaboration in infrastructure development.

 

San Antonio, Texas – The North American Development Bank (NADBank) will host its annual flagship event, NADBank Summit 2025, on August 28 & 29, 2025, at the KimptonSanto Hotel in San Antonio, Texas. The Summit will focus on “Investing in Infrastructure: The Catalyst for a Prosperous U.S.-Mexico Border Region.” With experts from the U.S. and Mexico, the two-day program will address water, energy, mobility and their impact on state economies and border communities.  

 

The Summit will bring together federal, state and local authorities, private sector investors and developers, academics, large-scale commercial users, thought leaders and renowned environmental experts from Mexico and the United States. Keynote speakers for the annual event include:  

 

  • Diana Alarcon, Alternate Executive Director for Costa Rica, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, Mexico, Nicaragua, and Spain at the World Bank 
  • Tony Gonzales, U.S. Representative, Texas District 23
  • Rob Black, Secretary of Economic Development for the State of New Mexico
  • Víctor Manuel Villalobos Arámbula, Former Secretary of Agriculture and Rural Development of Mexico (2018-2024)
  • Emmanuel Loo, Secretary of the Economy for the State of Nuevo Leon
  • Abraham Zamora, President (Mexico), Chief Sustainability Officer and Chief External Affairs Officer, Sempra Infraestructura
  • Alejandra Vázquez Langle, Global Director of Sustainability at Grupo Bimbo

As with previous years, we have a strong program centered on infrastructure investment and key water and other environmental issues impacting the U.S.-Mexico border region and the broader relationship. We will have lively discussions on the investments needed to support communities achieve long-term prosperity and improve the quality of life for their residents, said John Beckham, NADBank Managing Director. “During the Summit, we will also make a major announcement on new financial instruments designed to catalyze investment in infrastructure that conserves and diversifies water resources in rural and urban communities.”
