Proposals Open for Public Comment:

Proposed amendments to the Water Investment Program (WIP) -  In accordance with our public notice policies and procedures, NADBank is hereby releasing for a thirty-day (30-day) public comment period proposed amendments to its Water Investment Program (WIP), including making the program permanent, effective January 1, 2027. A description of the proposed amendments is provided in the program guidelines. These proposed amendments will be submitted to the Board of Directors for review and approval, at its sole discretion. To ensure that the Board can take public comment into account in considering these proposed amendments, comments submitted to the NADBank at the addresses below will be transmitted to the Board in advance of its decision.
 

Border-wide Energy Infrastructure for Comisión Federal de Electricidad in Mexico - To support the investment program of the Mexican Federal Electricity Commission (CFE) in the border region, NADBank proposes providing up to US$200 million in financing for eligible generation, transmission, and distribution projects that improve environmental performance and grid reliability. While NADBank financing may be allocated across a portfolio of eligible assets, NADBank has identified the Parque Industrial Internal Combustion Power Plant located in San Luis Río Colorado, Sonora, as a priority candidate for financing. The 200-megawatt facility began commercial operation in March 2025 and provides fast response generation to help meet peak demand in Baja California and portions of Sonora. The facility incorporates highly efficient natural gas-fired technology and advanced emission controls, supporting the replacement of less efficient mobile peaking units historically used for reliability support in that region.
