Access to Financing Program (AFP) -
The North American Development Bank (NADBank) has developed the Access to Financing Program (AFP) to strengthen its ability to deliver its environmental and human health mandate through financial intermediaries to small and medium-sized businesses in the U.S.–Mexico border region. The proposed program will provide a risk-aligned and scalable programmatic vehicle to finance environmental infrastructure projects across strategic sectors, with an emphasis on water and wastewater management, while maintaining flexibility to support other mandate-aligned environmental sectors.
In accordance with its transparency and public notice policies, NADBank has published the draft proposal for a 30-day period to give border stakeholders and other interested parties an opportunity to share their comments and opinion. Upon conclusion of the public comment period and subject to the satisfactory resolution of any comments received, Bank Management will formally submit the proposal to the NADBank Board of Directors for consideration and approval.
